Hotel deLuxe, we pay homage to the golden age of cinema. In the lobby, a video wall has larger-than-life images of the silver screen’s most luminous stars. On display in our corridors and guestrooms, you’ll find an expertly curated collection of historic film stills and behind-the-scenes studio shots from Hollywood films of the 1930s, 40s and 50s, presented in a gallery-like fashion.
As you wander from floor to floor, discover a variety of movie themes that bring out the film buff in you. On the 2nd floor, pay tribute to Alfred Hitchcock, and be riveted by stills taken from his masterfully suspenseful movies, including a shot of Jimmy Stewart in “Vertigo.” Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and get swept away by shots featuring song and dance masters, including everyone’s favorite, Gene Kelly. On the 4th floor, immerse yourself in the early films that challenged and changed Hollywood forever, from Brando in “A Streetcar Named Desire” to a young Orson Welles in “Citizen Kane.”
